I looked today to see how many extra math courses I would need to take to receive a math minor. That means the Apocalypse is nigh. Turns out I'll be four courses away from it when I graduate with my masters so it really wouldn't be feasible to do right now. Algebra and proving Trig theorems is difficult but upper level Calculus really isn't too bad. I can see some of the value of this type of math as it pertains to weather. Otherwise, what's the point of math, right? I'm debating whether to take an extra math course that has some of the applicable weather stuff. Maybe. Maybe not.
