Drew's 7 month update

6 Month Milestones
Drew has discovered his wrists. So, that means he rotates & waves his hands a lot.
Drew has discovered his tongue too. So, he sticks it out & twirls it several times a day.
He had his first ear infection.
He has had a terrible infection around his right eye. We thought it was staph & kept him out of daycare for almost 3 weeks. The final results aren't in, but we know it's not staph it's some type of viral infection.
He moved up in baby food stages. Now, he can have combination foods!!
He got to meet his great-grandparents from New Mexico!!

7 Month Milestones
.....he has started crawling!!!!

He came home from daycare yesterday with a blister on his big toe & the dirtiest knees I have ever seen on a baby!! Go Drew!!

Our First Happy Father's Day

As a side note: Drew turned 7 months old on Father's Day!! Yay!!






We were pretty laid back for Father's Day. Drew gave David a card & a framed newspaper about the tornado from this Spring.
Drew also took his Daddy out to Logan's for a big steak for lunch. Then,we ended with a little swimming over at Peg's.

Grandparents & Great Grandparents Visit!!

David's parents & grandparents came for a visit this weekend. David's folks drove over from Dallas. His Grandparents flew to Dallas from New Mexico & rode over with his folks. So, it was no easy feat to make it over here. We had a great visit. We went out to dinner a few times, as well as, cooked out at the house. Sadly, Drew has been sick....so, it was the only hitch during the weekend. We drove around to some sites. However, we mostly enjoyed the fellowship at the house. We told crazy stories & laughed a ton. Drew even got to go swimming at the hotel with David & Grandpa Dale. We couldn't have asked for a better visit. We hate we're so far from them. Hope to see them all again soon.

Baby Food to the Rescue

If I haven't told anyone before, I've been perusing my local farmer's market to make Drew some organic baby food. We have a garden plot, but nothing with any produce yet. I just finished making some organic squash & carrot baby food this afternoon. Yay!! It tastes really good. Hope Drew likes it. It should last him most of the week!!

Memorial Day - Playdates

Drew had his first play dates this weekend!!




I (kk) had some college girlfriend's come over with their new additions on Saturday. Isn't this the cutest photo shoot with babies ever?!! It was so fun & they were so good!!




Drew also had his first playdate with another little boy on Sunday.
