Sleepy Boy

Drew was in a super good mood when I gave a voice lesson this morning. I just put him in his swing, and he just played quietly....and eventually succombed to the swaying motion [& fell asleep].

As I drove around doing a bunch of errands, he slept soundly.

This afternoon, I was able to make a ton of phone calls about the neighborhood association that I'm forming. (Again, he took a long nap in the living room).

After all this sleeping, he finally awoke but just wanted to be held [as he was still tired]. So, I grabbed my baby sling & we went for a walk....in which, he fell asleep...

I believe he is going through a growth spurt OR he's a young Rip Van Winkle.

Bath Time is Fun

Drew loves bath time. He's getting so good at picking up his ducky & other toys!!
It's more like he's picking them up with his arms, but his grip is getting more accurate every day (Just ask my hair...ouch!!)

Country Boy

After a trip to Scruggs this weekend, we are one John Deere trucker hat richer. Plus, Drew finally grew into his first pair of overalls. I love it!!

Easter Bunny

Since Drew was too young to get his picture with Santa......we made up for it & he had his picture taken with the Easter Bunny this Saturday. Thankfully, he smiled!! If I had known he was going to do this, I would have dressed him up. Although, he still looks adorable!!

Here's a pic of Drew from Sunday. I love this little sweater vest!! It was the first time to see him in "little boy" clothes...he's just growing so fast!!

And I just loved this picture of Drew & David having some play time. Drew loves his Daddy!!

Playtime

look at those chubby legs!!

13lbs 13oz - 24in long

It's Official

It's official... we are really parents.

Last night (around 2am), Drew woke me up crying. I went to just put his pacifier back in & get him back under the covers (that's his usual m.o). However, he was wet...literally... he had peed all over himself & his crib. Nice. Well, David was asleep & i can't get the sheet off without taking the entire crib bumper off.... So, I just stripped him down & out of his wet clothes & put him in the bed with us.

Well,at 5am I awoke to Drew screaming again. So, I try to calm him down by nursing him...it wasn't working. I reach under him to pick him up...... yep, he had wet "OUR" bed too!! This time I had to wake David up.....and he changed the sheets as I changed Drew yet again.

Ahhh, motherhood.....

[And please, no comments on pointing his wee-wee down in the diaper...I do that...this is that special magic pee that is unexplainable...]
